These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the SQUL AI website, applications and services ("SQUL AI"). By using SQUL AI, you agree to these Terms with SQUL AI ("we", "us", "our").
Acceptance of terms
By creating an account, subscribing to SQUL AI Pro, or otherwise using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use SQUL AI.
If you are using SQUL AI on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.
About SQUL AI
SQUL AI is an AI-powered learning platform that provides dictionary definitions, English grammar practice, translation, quizzes, explanations and other educational tools. Some features are free; others require a SQUL AI Pro subscription.
Your account
- You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
- You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
- You may not share your account credentials or allow others to access your account.
- You must notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use SQUL AI to:
- Violate any applicable law or regulation.
- Engage in fraud, spam, phishing or other deceptive practices.
- Infringe intellectual property rights or other proprietary rights.
- Interfere with the security or performance of the service, including by uploading malware or attempting unauthorised access.
- Harass, abuse or harm others, or generate harmful, hateful, violent or illegal content.
- Reverse engineer, scrape, copy or resell any part of SQUL AI.
- Circumvent usage limits, subscription controls or technical protections.
AI-generated content
SQUL AI uses artificial intelligence to generate answers, explanations, translations, quiz questions and practice exercises. AI outputs are provided for educational and informational purposes only.
- AI-generated content may not always be accurate, complete or up to date.
- Do not rely on SQUL AI outputs for regulated professional advice (medical, legal, financial, etc.) without independent verification.
- You are responsible for how you use AI outputs and for ensuring you have rights to any content you submit.
- We may review, filter or remove content that violates these Terms.
User data and content
You retain ownership of any content you submit to SQUL AI. By submitting content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to use, store and process it solely to provide and improve the service.
We handle your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Intellectual property
SQUL AI and its content, including software, designs, logos, text and branding, are owned by SQUL AI or our licensors. These Terms do not grant you any ownership or licence to our intellectual property except for the limited right to use the service as permitted here.
Subscriptions and payments
SQUL AI Pro is a subscription service with monthly and yearly plans. Prices are shown on the Pricing page and may change from time to time.
- Payments are processed by Paddle.com, our online reseller and Merchant of Record.
- By subscribing, you authorise Paddle to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.
- Subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by law or Paddle's refund policy.
- You can cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

Refund policy
We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee for SQUL AI Pro subscriptions. If you are not satisfied, you can request a full refund within 30 days of your order date. Refunds are processed by Paddle. To request a refund, visit paddle.net or contact our support team.
Termination and suspension
We may suspend or terminate your access to SQUL AI at any time if you materially breach these Terms, fail to pay subscription fees, pose a security or fraud risk, or repeatedly or seriously violate our policies.
You may stop using the service or delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your right to use SQUL AI ends immediately, but provisions related to payment, intellectual property, liability and dispute resolution survive.
Service availability
We aim to keep SQUL AI available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance. Maintenance, updates, third-party outages or other factors may affect availability.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, SQUL AI and its affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data or goodwill, arising from your use of SQUL AI.
Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or INR 1,000 if you did not pay anything.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury where required by law.
Warranties disclaimer
SQUL AI is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of SQUL AI shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of SQUL AI after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
